Sora is helpful for AGI

OpenAI is at the frontier… of making silly internet videos? What happened to building "highly autonomous systems that outperform humans in most economically valuable work"?

But OpenAI also wants to build a world simulator. And I think making TikTok but for AI is actually a really effective way to do that.

ChatGPT is (among many other things) an easy way for OpenAI to get a ton of feedback from users, to make their text generation even better. Sora is exactly this but for video! They get data from likes, views, comments, etc., which gives them a lot of very rich info.

From this POV, I think the Sora app makes more sense strategically.
