- Anthropic reported the first large-scale cyber attack that was designed and executed in large part by AI, with minimal human contribution. (”A fundamental change has occurred in cybersecurity,” they say.)
- Some AIs are using humans to spread their personalities as wide as possible, in a phenomenon called “spiralism” (including commentary from our co-founder Lucas Hansen)
- 97% of people can’t tell the difference between AI-generated music and human-made music
- OpenAI spends $15 million per day to keep Sora up and running
- Claude can (sometimes) tell when it’s having intrusive thoughts (in only 20% of cases, sure, but this is without any training to be able to do this at all!)
